Hunger Action Month
September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide effort to raise awareness about hunger in America and inspire action. Every action―big or small―is one step closer to an America where no one is hungry.
When people are fed, futures are nourished, and we can all reach our full potential. Family Kitchen invites you to take action in the fight against hunger by partnering in our Hunger Action Month campaign.
Ways to participate:

Support Family Kitchen financially through a Cause Marketing Campaign: would you offer a percentage of sales from a day/week/weekend in September? Or proceeds from a specific item or service?

Bring your team out to volunteer: Family Kitchen offers 8 meals a week, with plenty of opportunities to host group volunteer shifts! We’d love to have your team join us to do some team building and serve our community.

Offer a discount to donors/volunteers: Would you offer a discount to customers who donate or volunteer at Family Kitchen in September?

Spread the word: we’d be happy to supply you with posters and/or QR codes to have out in September to help spread the word about Family Kitchen and help us drive donations and volunteers this Hunger Action Month!

Host a Food Drive: do you have a common area or foyer we could put materials and a box to collect much needed food?

Donate an item for Family Kitchen’s Hunger Action Month Silent Auction.
