Our volunteers are everything.

We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers - truly.

Our volunteers bring their heart, soul, skills, time, humor, smiles, kindness and respect that make true nourishment happen!

What Does Volunteering Look Like?

Family Kitchen offers a wide variety of days, times, locations, and ways to volunteer.  We pride ourselves on flexible options to accommodate a range of ages, abilities, and group sizes

Most shifts include prep, cooking, making meals (both to go and dine-in), serving, and cleaning up. We also have dishwashing, meal delivery, grocery pick-up, and more!

When volunteering during a meal service, youth under 18 years of age are required to be accompanied by a guardian.
